Abstract:
The ceramic materials have attracted much attention due to their outstanding wear resistance, mechanical properties, dielectric properties and chemical stability, etc. However, ceramics are difficult to process due to their inherent low ductility and hard and brittle properties. After adopting the 3D software design model, the complex structure parts can be molded point by point, line by line or surface by surface by using the printing equipment with the 3D printing technology, thus improving the efficiency of the whole design, manufacturing, performance evaluation, application and optimization cycle. Based on the progress of 3D printing technology in the preparation of ceramic materials, applications of different 3D printing technologies in classification are summarized in this article, and appropriate comments on development and challenges in the corresponding fields are expressed, which can provide some reference value for the application of 3D printing technology to the ceramic materials.
