Abstract:
In order to analyze the influence of belt tension on the stress state of a non-standard drive drum of a belt bulk conveyor, a finite element model of a drive drum with expanded sleeve joint structure is established. The stress under the condition of self-weight and sleeve expansion and tightening force and the stress under the condition of self-weight, sleeve expansion and tightening force and belt tension are calculated respectively. The results show that the driving drum is most affected by the tension of the conveyor belt, and the other parts are greatly affected by the expansion and tightening force of the expanding sleeve.
