Abstract:
Nickel-based Superalloys have been widely used in aerospace and other fields due to their excellent performance; however, there are problems such as high cutting force, high cutting temperature, serious tool wear, serious work hardening and low machining accuracy during the cutting process. In this article, focusing on the influence of cutting parameters, new cutting fluid technologies and cutting tool types on the cutting machining process, the research status of surface integrity of Nickel-based Superalloys is briefly elaborated, and the impact of ultrasonic vibration cutting process on the cutting performance of Nickel-based Superalloys is then summarized. Finally, the future development trend of Nickel-based Superalloys is outlooked, which provides an important basis for the subsequent cutting and machining.
