Abstract:
The nacelle cover of a wind turbine plays an important role in ensuring the long-term stable operation of the unit and delaying component aging. In view of the problems of rain leakage and high manufacturing cost of wind turbine nacelle covers in the current industry, this paper carries out extensive investigation and research, and proposes improvement schemes for enhancing sealing performance, reducing manufacturing costs, and achieving lightweight design of the cover. The proposed scheme is elaborated in detail from two aspects: key points of structural design and application cases of structural design. The research results show that wind turbine nacelle covers still have considerable development potential in terms of performance improvement, modular design, and lightweight design. By optimizing the design of composite structural components, promoting modular mold design of the nacelle cover, and reducing the consumption of composite materials, the main development directions of wind turbine nacelle covers have been identified, which can provide reference for relevant practitioners.
