Abstract:
Traditional garden machinery is mostly powered by fuel, which suffers from high carbon emissions, severe noise pollution and low energy efficiency. With the advancement of global ecological civilization construction, urbanization and the implementation of the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality strategy, the garden machinery industry is undergoing a structural transformation from fuel power to electrification. Meanwhile, noise, exhaust gas, dust and oil pollution generated during operation have become urgent technical problems to be solved. Driven by the electrification and intelligent development of construction machinery, garden machinery is evolving toward multiple technical routes including pure electricity (lithium battery and battery swapping), hydrogen fuel cell and hybrid power. This paper summarizes the development status and technical characteristics of electric garden machinery, discusses the major existing problems and challenges, and proposes the development paths for electric garden machinery under the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, so as to provide strategies and suggestions for the development of the industry.
