Abstract:
This paper addresses the issues of calibrating lathe center height using shims and the limited usability of tools, and designs a lathe center height corrector characterized by convenient adjustment, high rigidity, and strong stability. The device consists of components such as a handle, a dial, locking nuts, and thrust bearings. After completing the production, debugging and improvement, the practice was carried out, and the device achieved stepless to stepless adjustment of the gasket, solved the problem of mutual interoperability and restriction due to the difference in tool thickness, lathe model and lathe center height, and reduced the tool damage and machining error caused by the inaccurate height of the turning tool center.
