Failure Cause Analysis and Optimization Measures of a Twin Pump

  • 摘要: 双联齿轮泵是汽轮给水泵自带的设备,汽轮给水泵是反应堆二回路重要的设备之一,它的平稳运行能保证蒸汽发生器有稳定的供水来源。该文对双联泵进行了简要介绍,并针对该型号双联齿轮泵在运行调试过程中安全油压无法稳定维持在正常范围内的问题,对双联泵进行了拆解分析,查明了故障产生的原因。在此基础上,对双联齿轮泵结构进行了优化设计,并通过性能验证试验对改进效果进行了验证。试验结果表明,改进后的双联泵有效解决了原有问题,确保了汽轮给水泵的正常稳定运行。

     

    Abstract: The twin gear pump is an auxiliary device integrated with the turbine-driven feedwater pump, which is one of the key components of the secondary circuit of a nuclear reactor. Stable operation of the turbine feedwater pump ensures a reliable water supply to the steam generator. This paper provides a brief introduction to the twin gear pump and addresses the problem that the safety oil pressure of a specific twin gear pump could not be stably maintained within the normal range during operation and commissioning. The pump was disassembled and analyzed to identify the root cause of the failure. On this basis, the structure of the twin gear pump was optimized, and the effectiveness of the improvements was verified through performance tests. The experimental results show that the optimized twin gear pump successfully eliminates the original problem and ensures the normal and stable operation of the turbine feedwater pump.
