Abstract:
Currently, the mainstream welding methods for automotive pipe fittings in the market are mostly traditional welding, which can no longer meet the high requirements of welding quality and production efficiency. Aiming at this problem, a welding system for automotive pipe fittings was designed and studied. Through the research on the welding system scheme of automotive pipe fittings, four collaborative operation subsystems including automatic polishing, automatic transportation, automatic loading and unloading, and automatic welding were constructed, and the structural composition and working principle of the system were expounded. Through the finite element analysis of the clamping force on the pipe fitting, it is verified that the gripper does not cause obvious damage to the pipe fitting, and the most applicable clamping force is calculated based on this. The design of this system ensures the welding accuracy while achieving a high degree of automation throughout the entire process, reducing the burden of manual labor, and thereby improving the welding quality and production efficiency of automotive pipe fittings.
