循环淬火工艺对40Cr钢组织的影响试验

Experimental Study on the Effect of Cycling Quenching Process on the Microstructure of 40Cr Steel

  • 摘要: 循环淬火工艺是目前改善钢组织遗传性的有效方法之一,其不仅能够细化晶粒,还可以提升金属材料的强度和硬度。该文以40Cr钢为对象,通过对多次循环淬火工艺与1次淬火工艺的对比,探究循环淬火次数对40Cr钢金相组织及硬度值的影响,并考察在循环淬火工艺后进行回火工艺处理时保温时间对组织和硬度的影响。结果分析表明,在830 ℃下,保温20 min,经过3次循环淬火可获得最佳晶粒细化效果。与1次淬火相比,3次循环淬火使硬度提升了5%,显著增强了材料的强度与硬度。而在循环淬火后再进行回火处理时,随着保温时间延长,硬度值略有下降。

     

    Abstract: Cyclic quenching process is currently one of the effective methods to improve the heredity characteristics of steel structure. It not only refines grain size but also enhances the strength and hardness of metal materials. In this experiment, 40Cr steel was taken as the object, and multiple cycles of quenching process were compared with a single quenching process to explore the effect of cycle quenching times on the metallographic structure and hardness of 40Cr steel. The effect of holding time during tempering process after cyclic quenching on microstructure and hardness was also examined. The results showed that at 830 ℃, with a holding time of 20 minutes, three cycles of quenching achieved optimal grain refinement effect. Compared with a single quenching, three cycles increased hardness by 5%, significantly enhancing material strength and hardness. Furthermore, when tempering was performed after cyclic quenching, the hardness slightly decreased with prolonged holding time.
