Abstract:
This paper starts from the chemical composition and mechanical properties of Q345E-Z25, a door frame of wind power tower barrel, and selects ER50-6 solid wire and E501T-1 flux-cored wire as experimental objects specifically. The paper focuses on the mechanical properties and impact resistance at low temperatures of the weld seam and weld heat-affected zone of both wires, concluding that the mechanical properties and impact resistance at low temperatures of the weld seam and weld heat-affected zone of E501T-1 flux-cored wire are basically consistent with the base material, verifying the feasibility of E501T-1 flux-cored wire as a welding material for door frame of wind power tower barrel. Furthermore, E501T-1 flux-cored wire has lower costs than other wires, making it have great promotion value and economic benefits.
