Abstract:
This paper addresses issues such as tassel softness and susceptibility to deformation, the high skill requirements for tassel assembly, and low production efficiency by designing an automated bookmark tassel assembly system. Through an analysis of the manual tassel assembly process, modular mechanism design was implemented according to distinct process requirements. Mechanisms such as the tassel feeding, loading, piercing, and tying were designed, and a stable and efficient automatic tassel assembly process was crafted based on the characteristics of each mechanism. This system serves as a replacement for traditional manual tassel assembly methods with its compact structure and ease of operation. Through the cooperation of multiple actuators, the system achieves automatic assembly of bookmark tassels, not only saving labor and improving work efficiency, but also providing a research foundation for the subsequent development of automatic bookmark production lines.
