Simulation and Testing Research on the Sag of Server Chassis

  • 摘要: 文章采用Abaqus仿真与批量测试的方法,对服务器机箱底座的下沉量进行深入研究分析。以2U通用机架服务器为例展开分析,通过进行仿真与实测对比,证明了仿真精度足够且演练了满载sag到空载sag的分析和管控过程。该研究提出了全新的空载sag管控理论,并根据满载建议值反推空载建议值,再由仿真计算出空满载差值,该方法有效提升了工厂端的sag管控,对服务器机箱的sag设计和生产有重要指导意义。

     

    Abstract: This article uses Abaqus simulation and batch testing methods to conduct research and analysis on the sag of the server chassis base. Taking a 2U universal rack server as an example, simulation and actual measurement are compared to demonstrate sufficient simulation accuracy, and the analysis and control process from full load sag to empty load sag is rehearsed. This study proposes a new theory of empty load sag control, which calculates the difference between empty and full load through simulation. Based on the suggested value of full load, the empty load suggested value is deduced, which effectively improves the sag control at the factory end, and has important guiding significance for the sag design and production of server chassis.
