Co-Simulation Analysis of an Electro-mechanical Braking System for Rail Transit Vehicles
-
Abstract
Aiming at the independently developed electro-mechanical braking system for rail transit vehicles, a co-simulation model of the electro-mechanical braking system was established using Matlab Simulink and Adams software to conduct performance simulation studies. By comparing the motor current and braking force response characteristics of dual-loop and quad-loop control systems under typical braking conditions, the optimal control algorithm for the braking system was determined. The co-simulation model confirmed that the response performance of the electro-mechanical braking system effectively meets design requirements for both braking force and braking time, providing valuable guidance for the development of electro-mechanical braking control systems.
