Development of Interphase Spacer based on Live Installation of 10 kV Line

  • As an important link to ensure power transmission, the power transmission and distribution lines can not be replaced in the power system. In view of the problems of 10kV distribution network line galloping up and down at the moment of bird falling off, the line conductor is excited by the lateral wind and low frequency to generate self-excited vibration, resulting in major accidents such as inter phase short circuit tripping of the transmission line, burn and break of the conductors, and metal insulation damage, etc., this paper proposes to design and install a convenient light spacer without affecting the normal power supply. Though modification of fixing the spacer clamp with a self-locking device of 10 kV interphase spacer, the installation of spacer is completed by using the lock catch of the self-locking device to lock the conductor firmly. After verification, the spacer can be installed without power failure, which is of great significance to save the economic loss caused by the unplanned power failure of the power grid, and to ensure the life safety of personnel and the service life of equipment during the operation and maintenance; at the same time, the unplanned power failure caused by conductor galloping is eliminated.
