Design and Application of Jigger Intelligent Control System in Coal Preparation Plant Based on PLC

  • The traditional jigger control system adopts manual estimation of bed thickness and manual control mode, which leads to low separation efficiency and poor control ability of coal preparation process. Taking the jigger in coal preparation plant as the research object, a set of intelligent control system for jigger based on PLC control is designed in this paper. The system takes the two functions of jigger bed layering state detection and adaptive control of air valve as the core. Then, functions of the jigging machine bed porosity detection and the automatic adjustment of inlet and outlet valves are analyzed and designed; and the detection and control effects of jigging machine are verified through the system operation tests. This design can automatically adjust the air valve to obtain the best layering control effect under different coal quality conditions, and it has practical significance for improving the operation efficiency and reliability of the jigger.
