Study on Optimization of Grinding Wheel Dressing Accuracy and Dressing Parameters for Crankshaft Machining

  • Aiming at the problems of dimensional accuracy error and non-standardization of dressing parameters of the grinding wheel, the grinding wheel dressing process is analyzed in this paper, and the two key factors affecting the dressing accuracy are identified, namely, resilience and wear ratio. In addition, the experiments are designed to verify the influence of linear speed ratio, dressing times and feed rate on the surface state of the grinding wheel after dressing; and the dressing parameters are adjusted and optimized. The dimensional accuracy of grinding wheel and the qualified rate of crankshaft machining surface roughness are improved, which reduces the scrap of parts and saves the cost of the workshop. It has important reference value for the dressing process in grinding machine processing.
