Study on the Relationship between Magnetization Form and Internal Remanence Distribution of Thin Film Hard Magnetic Soft Materials

  • The intelligent soft materials driven by magnetic fields have potential applications in soft robotics, biomedical diagnostics, flexible electronics and other fields. The magnetic field distribution inside the soft material determines the deformation behavior of the material. On the other hand, the remanence distribution inside the material is controlled by its bending form during magnetization. In this paper, the relationship between the remanence distribution and the bending shape of the film-like hard magnetic soft material is investigated. The remanence distribution of the film is controlled by controlling the bending form of the film during magnetization. In order to verify the rationality of the equation, the deformation behavior of several films with different magnetizing bending modes is simulated and verified by experiments based on the force-magnetic coupling constitutive model. The comparison between the experimental results and the simulation results shows that the two are in good agreement, which proves the rationality of the relationship between the two given in this paper.
