Study on an Innovation Design Method of Systematic Avoidance using Patent Resources

  • In this world, the importance of patents to a company is self-evident. If a modern company does not have the product of its own intellectual property, it will not even stand out on the market, much less has competitive advantage. On how to avoid the patent blockage of the competitors and conceive new patent on the basis of the existing patent without infringing on the intellectual property of others, this paper presents an innovation design method of systematic avoidance. This method is to dig out the functions realized by the technical characteristics of the existing patents, and conceive other carriers to realize the functions, and then combine the carriers to form a new technical solution, namely a new patent. This method is emphasised in this paper, and then its effectiveness and versatility are also demonstrated by some examples. This method can also be used as an important method to cultivate the innovative ability of mechanical students in the “Internet +” era.
