Development and Experiment of 9QZ-1.6 Silage Corn Harvester

  • In order to solve the problem of silage harvesting in hilly and mountainous areas, the 9QZ-1.6 corn harvester with the functions of harvesting, shredding and throwing is designed in this paper. The overall structure and working principle of the harvester are introduced, the key components are designed and analyzed in detail, and field experiments are carried out. The field experiment shows that the prototype productivity is 31.2 t/h, the stubble height is 20~30 mm, and the cutting pass rate is over 97% when the forward speed of the prototype is 2.23 km/h, the pure working hour productivity is 0.6~1.49 hm2/h, all the performance indexes are in good agreement with the design value. In the test process, the equipment has good harvesting ability for high-stalk crops, especially in the open road operation and small plot operation, which provides a reference and basis for the optimization and improvement of the overall layout, equipment comfort and key parts of the harvester.
