Dynamic Characteristics Study and Modeling of Aluminum Alloy Flat Thin-Walled Parts

  • For the three kinds of thin-walled aluminum alloy materials (6061/7050/7075), based on the method of hammer experiment, the identification of frequency response function modal parameters considering the cutting path is carried out, the influencing factors of their dynamic characteristics are obtained, and the dynamic characteristics modeling of thin-walled parts considering cutting vibration is constructed. The results show that the natural frequency of 6061/7050 aluminum alloy thin-walled parts increases with the cutting path approaching the workpiece center line, while the change is not obvious in 7075. The model can effectively predict the change of modal parameters in the machining path of thin-walled parts.
