Application of New Sealing Head on the Inner Wall Cleaning of Steel Tube

The use of cleaning hose with attached nozzles and brushes to extend into the inner wall of steel tube for cleaning operations has the characteristics of good cleaning effect and low production cost which is increasingly applied in industrial production. However, in practical applications, the sealing at cleaning hose and the head of tube can easily cause leakage of cleaning fluid, and a large amount of residual cleaning fluid inside the steel tube cannot be discharged after cleaning. In this paper, a new type of sealing head device is proposed; the structure and working principle of the sealing head are elaborated. After continuous use in the engineering, it has been verified that the new sealing head device works reliably and has a low frequency of sealing ring replacement. It has a broad application prospect in engineering.
