Research on Constant Power Speed Control Strategy for Mining Belt Conveyor

  • In response to the problem of light load and large waste of electricity during the transportation process of mining belt conveyors, an intelligent speed control strategy based on load changes on the belt conveyor is proposed. A fuzzy control model for the belt conveyor speed and coal flow rate is established, and the improved speed control strategy is simulated and analyzed. It is proven that the constant power speed control strategy can improve the power factor of the driving motor, avoid energy waste, and improve the stability of the control system.
