Design of Cantilever Beam Sliding Device for Jack up

  • On the basis of research on the cantilever beam sliding system used in Jack up, a new cantilever beam sliding device is proposed in this paper. Taking a box shaped cantilever beam as a reference, this device adds a safety locking pin shaft and electrical detection components by adopting a cylinder pin shaft drive method so as to improve the safety and reliability of the system. By adopting an integrated operating platform, it is possible to achieve synchronous movement and single side fine adjustment of two sets of sliding devices; At the same time, interlocking protection is set between the sliding hydraulic cylinder and the safety locking hydraulic cylinder to ensure the safe operation of the equipment. The verification calculations and finite element analysis are performed on the sliding device based on its ultimate stress conditions; and then it is verified according to the CCS specifications, its strength meets the requirements. The results indicate that the technical parameter indicators of the device meet the design requirements and the structure is feasible.
