Research and Application of a Damping Device for Monorail Turnout

  • The suspended monorail turnout is the core equipment of the suspended monorail line, in which the movable core turnout is the most widely used. According to the rutting action and structural principle of the movable core turnout, it is necessary to design a kind of elastic damper for torsion at the connecting part of the bifurcated core. Therefore, combined with the rutting principle of the turnout, the specific stiffness of damper is put forward through simulation and test, the structural form of the damping member is designed, the function and structural form of the damper are compared and analyzed, and the design scheme is determined. The trial production and experimental tests are carried out, and the results show that the damping component meets the functional requirements and use of specific installation space, and it has compact structure and convenient installation and maintenance.
