Finite Element Analysis on the Key Components of Sunflower Seed Removal Machine

  • Frame is a key component of the sunflower seed removal machine, and its reasonable structural design is directly related to the safety and reliability of the whole machine. Based on the three-dimensional design and analysis software, the statics analysis and modal analysis of sunflower seed removal machine frame is conducted in this paper. The three-dimensional model of the frame is built through the SolidWorks 2019 software, and the statics analysis of the frame is carried out with the help of the Simulation plug-in. It is concluded through the analysis that the maximum stress and strain of the frame are in line with the design requirements, and the maximum strain of the frame is 1.96 mm. Secondly, the 12 th order free modal analysis of the frame is conducted with the help of ANSYS Workbench 2021; it is concluded through the analysis that the intrinsic frequency of the frame is 67.03 Hz, which is greater than the motor operating frequency 50 Hz, so as to ensure that the frame and the motor will not resonate during the running time of the whole machine. This study can provide a reference for the structural optimization of the sunflower threshing machine.
