Abstract
In order to study the design and optimization of the hinge joint, in this paper, the simplified force model for hinge joint is presented through taking the front landing gear door hinge joint of a certain aircraft as the objective. The basic parameters of the joint lug are determined by combining the engineering algorithm. The finite element software is used to optimize the joint topology and determine the path of the force transfer; the general position distribution and geometric dimension design for the detail features of the joint are carried out; and the detail of the joint size is optimized and improved according to the results of finite element analysis. Finally, the structure is designed with uniform force, high material utilization, good strength performance and light weight.
