Design and Application Analysis of Automatic Inspection System for Mine Belt Conveyor

  • The traditional manual inspection method used for mining belt conveyors and the method of setting up fixed cameras for fault monitoring have problems such as long monitoring and sampling cycles, poor real-time performance, poor comprehensiveness, low monitoring efficiency, and easy monitoring omissions. Based on the common fault phenomena and monitoring status of belt conveyors, combined with the main functions that automatic inspection systems should have, a belt conveyor automatic inspection system is designed in this paper. The core component of the automatic inspection system, the inspection robot, is designed and applied for testing. The test results show that the newly designed automatic inspection system can not only monitor the operation of the belt conveyor in real time, but also perceive the operating environment of the belt conveyor; The monitoring results are comprehensive, and the system runs stably and reliably. This study can provide reference for the design of belt conveyor inspection systems.
