Abstract
Taking FMEA as a tool, aiming at the daily operation and maintenance management of baggage system equipment, the impact of each failure mode on the operation of baggage system is analyzed based on process data; and a criterion for measuring the severity of the impact of the failure mode of baggage system, the possible incidence of failure and the detection degree is formulated to quantify the severity (S), frequency (O) and detection (D) of the potential failure modes of 223 components of the baggage system and calculate the RPN value. Action objectives and equipment maintenance strategies are formulated according to the evaluation results, so as to reduce or eliminate the failures occurrence as much as possible, reduce the unplanned downtime of the baggage system, improve the operational stability and reliability of the baggage system, and reduce the total maintenance costs of the baggage system.
