Simulation of Crushing Process of Seed Melon Peel Crusher and Force Analysis of Hammer Blade

  • Aiming at the environmental pollution caused by serious waste of seed melon peel, as well as the problem of large energy consumption of the crusher, the SolidWorks, EDEM software is used to build a model of seed melon peel, the crushing process under different speeds of the hammer force is analyzed to explore the impact of different rotor speeds on the hammer force, and then a more appropriate range of rotor speeds is obtained. The validity of the simulation model is verified with the production test of the prototype. It is concluded that the suitable range of rotor speed in the simulation test is from 1 100 r/min to 1 700 r/min, and the impact force on the hammer blade is the largest when the rotor speed is 2 300 r/min. The feasibility of the simulation results is verified through the production test of the prototype machine.
