Study on the Design of Elastic Drive Shaft for Outboard Propulsion System

  • The article mainly focuses on the elastic transmission shaft of the outboard propulsion system. Through theoretical strength analysis, strength calculation and static analysis of the transmission shaft, the position of its dangerous section, torsional shear stress and maximum shear stress are obtained. Based on the calculation results, the finite element analysis is carried out on the propeller shaft. This provides a reference for the design of elastic transmission shafts in the propulsion system of outboard engines.
