Design and Application Research of Unmanned System for Mining Overhead Passenger Equipment

  • The current overhead passenger device monitoring system in a certain mine has low automation and intelligence levels, and still requires manual monitoring and inspection. There are problems such as low efficiency, multiple monitoring blind spots, delayed detection of equipment failures, and significant safety hazards in the operation of the overhead passenger device. To effectively solve these problems, based on the structure and working principle of the overhead passenger device, the main problems in its application are analyzed. Then, combined with the main functional requirements of the system transformation, a type of unmanned monitoring system for overhead passenger device is designed through comprehensively applying the network remote monitoring technology, PLC controller and sensors; and the hardware and software parts of the system are designed and tested. The test results show that the system can remotely monitor the operating conditions of the overhead passenger devices, automatically start and stop the overhead passenger devices remotely, and provide comprehensive fault protection for the overhead passenger devices. The system operates stably and reliably, achieving good application effects. This study can provide reference for the modernization of overhead passenger devices under the similar operating conditions.
