Improvement and Application of Rapid Belt Replacement Process for Mine Belt Conveyor

To achieve faster and more efficient replacement of mining belt conveyor rubber belts, this paper analyzed the main advantages and disadvantages of the traditional belt replacement process.Based on the operating conditions of a belt conveyor in a coal mine in Shanxi, a new replacement process was proposed. The paper introduced the workflow and techniques of the new process and conducted an application analysis. The results showed that after adopting the new belt replacement process, the replacement speed was significantly improved, workers' labor intensity was greatly reduced, and the overall application performance was satisfactory. This study provides a useful reference for the safe, fast, and efficient replacement of belt conveyor rubber belts under similar working conditions.
