Abstract
To address problems of low efficiency and high labor intensity in the existing control methods of mine hydraulic supports, this study implemented an automation upgrade for the hydraulic support system. The overall scheme of the support control system was analyzed, and the system design based on PLC hardware and control logic was introduced. The system was applied at the 5102 fully mechanized working face of the Pulongwan Mine, where all functions met the expected performance requirements. The application results showed that the designed system effectively improved the level of remote automation control of electro-hydraulic supports, realized automatic follow-up control, reduced workers' labor intensity and equipment failure rates, and ensured the safe and stable operation of the hydraulic supports. This design provides a valuable reference for the automation and safety upgrades of coal mine production systems.
