Abstract
As offshore wind turbines have a tendency to grow larger and lighter, the flutter of wind turbine blades is becoming increasingly prominent.The flutter of wind turbine blades can result in structural damage, performance deterioration, and even system failure, which seriously restricts the further advancement of offshore wind power generation.This paper primarily introduces the principle of blade flutter, conducts an analysis of two types of flutter, namely classical flutter and stall flutter, reviews the research on blade flutter of horizontal axis and vertical axis wind turbine blades in recent years,and explores two types of methods for suppressing blade flutter.It aims to promote the research on flutter suppression of offshore wind turbine blades and contribute to the stable and rapid development of offshore wind power.
