Innovation and Application of Galvanizing Equipment and Methods for Hot-dip Galvanized Steel Pipe Production

  • This paper focuses on the production of hot-dip galvanized steel pipes and elaborates on a novel galvanizing device together with its supporting galvanizing method. Aiming at the problem that foam generated from the traditional flux solution impairs galvanizing quality, the proposed device is designed accordingly. With the coordinated operation of components including demister plates and air pumps, the galvanizing performance can be effectively improved. The overall structure, working principle of the device as well as the detailed procedures of the galvanizing process are analyzed in depth, and its practical application effect is investigated. The results verify that the developed device and method possess prominent advantages in enhancing galvanizing quality and reducing the reject rate. It can provide innovative ideas and practical engineering references for process upgrading in the hot-dip galvanized steel pipe manufacturing industry.
