Analysis of the Current Development Status and Discussion on Strategies for Electric Garden Machinery under the Background of “Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality”

  • Traditional garden engineering machinery primarily relies on fuel power, which brings about issues such as high carbon emissions, severe noise pollution, and low energy efficiency. With the advancement of global ecological civilization construction, urbanization, and the implementation of the “dual carbon” strategy, the garden machinery industry is undergoing a structural transformation from fuel power to electrification. The problems of noise, exhaust gas, dust, and oil pollution that arise during garden machinery operations have become urgent technical challenges to address. With the development of electrification and intelligence in engineering machinery, garden machinery is mainly moving towards pure electric (lithium battery/electricity swapping), hydrogen fuel cells, and hybrid power. This article discusses the main problems and challenges currently faced by electric garden machinery, combining the current development status of the industry and product technical characteristics. It points out the development path of electric garden machinery under the background of “carbon peak and carbon neutrality”, with the aim of providing strategies and suggestions for the industry's development.
