Design of Hydraulic System for Horror Elevator Amusement based on Simulation Verification

  • This paper focuses on the rapid speed-change experience of the horror elevator, a special type of amusement facility. By comprehensively adopting dual technical verification methods including theoretical calculation and simulation, a hydraulic control system is carefully developed. It aims to precisely control the dynamic motions of the elevator such as acceleration, deceleration, pause and sudden drop in simulated horror scenarios, so as to realize an accurate mapping between equipment dynamics and sensory experience.Parametric design, model selection and verification are carried out for key components of the hydraulic system, including hydraulic cylinders, pump units and system power. With verification by simulation software, the characteristic curves of speed and flow pulsation are obtained. The results validate the accuracy of the design scheme, ensuring that tourists can enjoy thrilling heart-pounding experiences while being guaranteed precise technical performance and operational safety.
