Study on Vibration Characteristics of Mining Dump Truck Cargo Box and Isolation Performance of the Suspension System

Abstract
This paper investigates the vibration characteristics of the mining dump truck body. The vibration characteristics of the cargo body under experimental conditions are analyzed through experimental methods, providing a reference for the structural optimization design of the cargo body and the improvement of cargo transportation stability. Firstly, an experimental model for the whole-vehicle vibration test of the mining dump truck is established in accordance with the national standard test methods for automobile ride comfort. Then, vibration tests are carried out on the whole vehicle based on the experimental model, and the vibration acceleration data at each measuring point of the vehicle are obtained. On this basis, the root mean square (RMS) of vibration is used to study the time-domain vibration characteristics of the cargo body, while the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) method is adopted to analyze its frequency-domain vibration response characteristics. The results show that the mining dump truck body is dominated by low-frequency vibrations at 1 Hz, 3 Hz and 6 Hz. The dynamic characteristics are as follows: the vibration energy intensity at the front end is lower than that at the rear end, and the vibration energy intensity on the left side of the cargo body is lower than that on the right side.
