Improvement and Design of a High-Position Water Tower One-to-Three Constant Pressure Water Supply Control System
-
Abstract
It is a common practice for chemical plants to use water towers or tanks for automatic water replenishment and constant pressure water supply. In this paper, a design scheme for a one-to-three constant pressure water supply control system based on a high-level water tower is proposed according to actual application requirements. The PID operating parameters of the frequency converter are set in accordance with the water supply process, and the main power circuit and control system of the water pump are designed. The PLC control program is compiled, and a variable table including outlet pipeline pressure, motor operating frequency and automatic water replenishment level is established, realizing linkage monitoring on the touch screen. The system performs PID regulation based on the variation of outlet water pressure, enabling stepless speed regulation of the pump motor and automatic switching between variable frequency and power frequency operation, thus achieving constant pressure water supply. The proposed control scheme can provide a reference for similar automatic constant pressure water supply projects.
