Design and Application of High-Efficiency Spray Cleaning System in Fully Mechanized Mining Face
-
Abstract
The dust concentration at the roadway tunneling face of coal mines is high, which can seriously threaten safe production. To effectively control dust at the tunneling face, the dust pollution conditions of the 5202-2 tunneling face were taken as an example. The shortcomings of the existing dust removal devices were analyzed, and a high-efficiency cross-section spray purification system, HCS5-003 was designed. This system employs supersonic atomizing nozzles to form a fog curtain, using fine mist to effectively block dust generated at the tunneling face. By installing one HCS5-003 system at distances of 15 m, 25 m, and 45 m from the tunneling face, efficient dust removal was achieved at the 5202-2 face. Compared with the original dust control measures, the total dust removal efficiency and respirable dust removal efficiency increased by 39.4% and 41.5%, respectively, achieving significant dust suppression. This study provides a useful reference for achieving rapid and efficient dust control at tunneling faces under similar conditions.
