A Review of the Compilation Method of Fatigue Test Load Spectrum of Excavator Working Device

Abstract
The working device is a crucial component that is prone to fatigue damage during the operation of excavators. The study of load spectrum compilation method is crucial for the fatigue life assessment and reliability analysis of excavator working devices. On the basis of reviewing the latest research results on the compilation methods of excavator load spectra, this article provides a comprehensive analysis of the practical needs of fatigue test load spectra for excavator working devices. This paper provides an overview of load time-domain extrapolation based on POT model, parameter extrapolation based on composite distribution, and non-parametric rain flow extrapolation methods based on kernel density estimation. Discussed the advantages and disadvantages of three methods and briefly analyzed their applicability. The research results of this article provide a reference for the compilation of fatigue test load spectra for excavator working devices.
