Design of Courtyard-style Vertical Bicycle Parking Garage

Abstract
Targeting high-performance bicycles, this study designs an intelligent bicycle garage suitable for modern society. It features intelligent convenience, fast storage/retrieval, safety and aesthetics, large storage capacity, and a simple structure. Firstly, the overall design scheme of the vertical bicycle parking garage was determined. The main structure of this garage primarily consists of a circular track line, clamping device, lifting device, arc-shaped door anti-theft device, walls, and a supporting frame. Finite element simulation analysis was conducted on key components including horizontal support panels, sprockets, and coil springs. Simulation results demonstrate that the maximum values of stress, deformation and strain in these components meet design requirements. By implementing automated storage retrieval systems and optimized spatial design, the vertical bicycle parking garage effectively addresses practical issues inherent in traditional high-performance bicycle garages such as low operational efficiency and inadequate space utilization, providing users with an intelligent and convenient new experience.
