Study on Dynamic Characteristics and Lifting Parameters of Wire Ropes of Multi-rope Friction Type Hoist
-
Abstract
In order to avoid rope collision faults caused by large-amplitude transverse vibration of multi-rope friction-type mine hoist, and then to determine reasonable hoisting parameters, the dynamic behaviors of constant-length hoisting wire ropes and variable-length hoisting wire ropes under periodic external excitation induced by fluctuation of the flywheel are analyzed, and a dynamic model and experimental validation are established to illustrate the effect of hoisting parameters on the transverse vibration of hoisting wire ropes. The results show that large-amplitude transverse vibration is usually associated with hoisting ropes, and when the external excitation frequency is in the range of hazardous resonance frequency, large-amplitude transverse vibration will be excited, thus inducing possible rope collisions. The research results can provide theoretical basis and technical support for the optimized design, safe operation and maintenance of the hoisting system.
