Design and Application of Industrial Slag Retrieving Robot in Medium Frequency Furnace

  • In order to realize the automation of slag cleaning in intermediate frequency furnace, a slag cleaning workstation control system based on industrial robot was researched and designed according to the actual slag cleaning work situation. The control system takes industrial robot as the core, and the hardware design and programming design of the workstation control system were carried out. According to the production site conditions, the slag cleaning robot workstation was designed. The test results show that the workstation can automatically complete the task of cleaning the intermediate frequency furnace scum. The overall operation state of the system is good, and the working speed is stable. It can effectively replace the manual cleaning of scum, greatly reduce the labor intensity of workers, and realize the automation of cleaning the intermediate frequency furnace scum.
