Analysis of the Torque Setting Method for Screw Tightening

As one of the critical fastening components in automotive assembly, the reliability of screw connections directly affects the overall safety of the vehicle. This paper presents a torque setting method for screws (excluding self-tapping screws) based on force analysis during the tightening process, combined with real vehicle installation verification. Additionally, a program was developed to enable more accurate and efficient control of bolt preload in practical engineering applications.
