Design and Development of High Temperature Wear-resistant Coke Particle Control Valve

  • Aiming at the problems of easy solidification, easy coking and strong wear of high temperature heavy fuel oil in refining unit, a special plate gate valve for coke particle control with protection function and diversion hole was designed. The structural design and development of coke particle control parts are introduced in detail. The paper focuses on the valve installation and use conditions, technical parameters, valve structure design, insulation measures, heat tracing sleeve design and other aspects are discussed in detail. It is concluded that the whole valve mechanism and related measures can solve the problems of solidification, coking and wear. The strength of the valve body, the strength of the heat tracing sleeve and the sealing performance of the valve are verified by the method of pressure test. It can replace the hard-sealed wear-resistant ball valve used in the existing device and has a good popularization significance.
