Design and Application of Semi-automatic Packaging Machine for Artificial Graphite Anode Materials

  • To address the problems of low packaging efficiency, unstable quality, and excessive reliance on manual labor in the packaging of artificial graphite anode materials, this study designs a semi-automatic packaging machine based on a PLC control system. By analyzing the packaging process flow, the three-dimensional designs of key modules including material conveying, weighing and metering, filling and bagging, and sealing were completed, and the PLC control program and weighing system were developed. Two machine models were designed, namely a 25 kg standard bag packaging unit and a 600 kg jumbo bag packaging unit.The system integrates sensors such as load cells, photoelectric sensors, and thermocouples to monitor packaging parameters in real time and transmit feedback to the PLC. The PLC precisely controls each actuator according to preset logic, enabling automated and intelligent packaging operations. Experimental tests on packaging accuracy, packaging speed, sealing quality, and control system stability show that both packaging machine models meet the design requirements. They achieve efficient, accurate, and stable packaging of anode materials and are suitable for the flexible production needs of small and medium sized enterprises.
