Design of a “V”-Shaped Electrical Contact Structure fou High-Speed Rail Relays Ensuring Weak-Signal Conductivity Reliability

  • Based on the principles of wedge mechanics and elastic dynamics, this paper proposes a V-shaped contact electrical contact structure for high-speed rail relays. Experimental verification demonstrates its significant advantages in key performance indicators such as contact resistance, weak-signal switching capability, short-circuit withstand capacity, and electrical lifespan. Test results show that this contact structure maintains a stable contact resistance below 3.0 mΩ, withstands short-circuit current impacts of 125 kA/4 s, and achieves a mechanical operational lifespan exceeding 10 million cycles. This research provides theoretical support for the design of highly reliable electromagnetic relays.
