Research on Emergency Stopping Test of Shiplift Braking System

In order to verify whether the emergency stoping performance of a ship lift safety braking system meets the design requirements, this paper analyzes the working principle of the braking system and conducts a total of 6 groups of tests based on three kinds of designed working conditions for up and down. The test results show that the closed-loop relation of "braking force-driving system speed" meets the requirements of the ship lift braking acceleration when the braking system is adjusted to apply braking force, and the braking consistency is so good to meet the requirements of the ship lift operation.
