Design and Application of Automated Condition Monitoring System for Distribution Lines

Abstract
Aiming at the current low level of distribution line automation monitoring, inaccurate fault localization, and frequent omission of false alarms, based on the research of distribution line fault localization and automation monitoring technology, a distributed automation condition monitoring system for distribution lines based on multi-system information integration function is designed. The system collects current and electric field parameters through multiple fault monitoring terminals deployed at branch points of distribution lines, and transmits the data to the remote monitoring terminal through wireless communication. The remote fault localization and monitoring functions of the system are verified through experimental tests, which can effectively reduce the workload of operation and maintenance personnel and improve the reliability of line operation.
